Extech MO290 Pinless Moisture Psychrometer with IR Thermometer

The MO290 measures moisture in materials, the humidity and temperature of the air, and surface temperature, all from one meter. It’s built for drying jobs, where you need to know how wet the building is and whether the air is helping it dry.

Moisture two ways

Read up to about 19 mm below the surface without pins, or plug in the remote pin probe for contact readings in timber and building materials.

The air, worked out for you

The humidity and temperature probe calculates grains per pound, dew point and vapour pressure. The IR thermometer then compares the surface temperature with the dew point, so you can see where condensation is likely to form.

Alarms you set

Set high and low alarms for moisture and humidity, so the meter tells you when a reading crosses the line you care about. Min/Max and Data Hold help when you’re recording readings room by room.
