Thermal cameras are a fast, non-invasive way to find pests and termites in walls, roofs and other hidden places, without spreading chemicals around a home.

A thermal camera can’t see through walls. It shows temperature differences on the surface caused by something on the other side. It won’t pick up an animal moving through a wall, but it can find a possum resting in one spot, or a nest that has warmed the wall over time.

Possums, rodents and nests

Animals and nests that stay in one place warm the surface around them. A thermal camera shows exactly where they are, so removal does as little damage as possible.

It saves hours of searching and takes the guesswork out of where to cut in.

Termite mud tracking

If there’s no obvious heat source, a sensitive camera can still show the irregular heat patterns and moisture that point to termites, like mud tracking inside a wall.

Sensitivity matters most here, because the temperature differences are usually very small. Reading these patterns takes training and practice, which is why every camera comes with free training.
