Bret Jones, the Managing Director of Infratek, brings nearly 30 years of industry expertise in infrared thermography experience across all major industries.

As a certified Thermographer, Bret conducts infrared training courses and also holds qualifications as a Civil/Structural engineer and is also an Architect/Building designer with over 35 years of practical experience in Building Applications. Bret has built, renovated or developed over 15 properties in the past 20 years so he is well experienced to guide you in selecting the right Infrared Cameras or Moisture Meters.

Furthermore, Bret is also a certified vibration analyst, accumulating over 20 years of industry experience in mechanical and electrical applications. His extensive background includes visits to many power stations, petrochemical and pulp and paper facilities, as well as numerous manufacturing facilities and mine sites right across Australia.

As well as doing the startup training for your camera purchases, Bret also runs our industry-specific thermography courses and also runs some of the FLIR Half Day training courses when required. His knowledge and experience position him as the “go to person” for advice for your next camera purchase in the use and application of Thermal Imaging. Bret enjoys nothing more than spending a few hours with a customer helping them to get started and get the best out of their infrared program.

When Bret isn’t busy running Infratek, he enjoys his property development projects, spending time with Kerri and their five children, having time out down at Phillip Island or playing golf on the weekend with his sons …. if it doesn’t conflict with watching his beloved Essendon Bombers.
